Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
At POIRIERCASTRO HSE, we take your environmental concerns very seriously and offer the most comprehensive services in the industry.
PHASE 1 ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS are conducted by our Agrologist, primarily to fulfil the due diligence requirements necessary for the purpose of lending when it comes to commercial properties.
Contamination on the property, as well as any other factors that may limit the buyers interest are disclosed during the assessment.
The assessment consists of a site visit, photographs, documentation of findings, a review of historical government documents, as well as interviewing landowners to gather sufficient information, so that the client and lender can make a sound informed decision regarding the property.
All findings are documented in a formal report and testing procedures are in compliance with CSA Standard Z768-01 (R2012).

PHASE 2 ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENTS are conducted by our Agrologist as a follow up to the Phase 1 Site Assessment, when issues arise that require the need to obtain more information.
The assessment may consist of soil, air and groundwater testing, as well as the testing of building materials if hazardous conditions are suspected. Any unsightly conditions are extensively documented with appropriate remediation requirements, and health and safety plans for proposed work. Finally, a detailed list of laboratory tests and interpretations are provided.
All findings are documented in a formal report and testing procedures are in compliance with CSA Standard 769-00 (R2008).
